Tom Nook's Job Walkthrough
- Part I -

When you start off the game, you'll find yourself inside a taxi with Kapp'n, the taxi driver, talking to you. He's going to ask you a series of questions which will determine how you will look when you start the game. For a quick guide to help you choose how you'll look, click here

He'll drop you off in front of a post office and the clerk there will greet you and show you how to get to your house and how to use your town map.

Once you go inside your house and back out, Tom Nook, the owner of a nearby shop will come up to you and tell you how much you owe him for the house! He offers for you to work off some of the money by working for him in his shop.

Once you get to his shop, he'll ask you to put on some work clothes and he gives you the task of decorating the outside of his shop with some flowers and saplings.

Once you're finished with that, he asks that you greet everyone in the town. This is where your map comes in handy! Find each character's house and greet them, and the mayor at the city hall. Some of the characters may not be inside their homes so you'll have to hunt them down outside. Remember to greet atleast one of them twice (other than the mayor) and do some chit-chat until they request your birthday, otherwise tom nook won't give you your next task.
