Booker & Copper

The two dogs you see at the front gate are Booker and Copper, the village gate guards. Booker is the shorter dog on the left, and Copper is the taller dog on the right side of the gate.

Booker can tell you if there's any special characters that have passed through the gate that day. If you ask "What's new?", and he responds with "I...I'm terribly sorry! I hadn't realized.", this means no one's passed through the gates that day. He also manages all lost and found items in the town, and you can change your town flag by speaking with him.

Copper is in charge of opening the gates for visitors to come, and he can let you visit friend's towns. If you select the option "Friend Code" when talking to him, he'll issue you a friend code to share with others so you can visit eachother's towns!
