Timmy and Tommy Nook are Tom Nook's nephews. When Tom Nook's store expands to be a two-story mall (Nookington's), Tom Nook calls upon his nephews, Timmy and Tommy, to help him out (otherwise he'd be chasing you up and down the stairs to give you his sales pitch - quite a site to see!).
