Tortimer

The Turtle Mayor!

Tortimer is the mayor of your town who presides over all the town's special events (such as the Fishing Tourney, or New Year's Eve). On normal days you can find him in the back of the town hall (viewable if you talk to Pelly or Phyllis in the left side window). Tortimer will also wait outside your door to hand you some of the Golden items available in the game, where he'll wait day and night until you talk to him to receive your item. Be sure to talk to him during the fireworks shows - he's the only one you can receive the roman candle and sparkler from which are always loads of fun!
